We are dedicated to creating a safe and supportive community where black women can share their stories and support one another without fear of judgment or oppression. Our workshops focus on topics such as self-care, mental health, interpersonal relationships, body image, race & gender dynamics, and other important issues impacting black women today. These workshops provide a safe space for open dialogue and reflection while also offering opportunities for personal growth.
Unladylike curates unique events integrating art, and mental health! Our mission is to empower others to dismantle harmful and outdated social ideologies through creativity and authenticity! It was created by Chicago artists and mental health professionals DeJa Jovon and Lauren Victoria. Through art events, community discussions, and social action, we are pushing the boundaries of what it means to be a “lady”!
